NSD We are getting all geared up for National Scrapbook Weekend that is just around the corner! Two great days of scrapbooking plus lots of door prizes to be given away! If you have not signed up, we are booked for all Friday classes and the copy crop, but we do have room in the Saturday classes. We are taking names for a waiting list for the copy crop. If you are signed up for Friday or Copy Crop and cannot come, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may get these ladies in.

CAN'T ATTEND ON SATURDAY? We have been giving great thought on what to do for those that just cannot attend the Saturday classes this year. We realize May is such a busy time and several ladies have shared with us that they had obligations that just could not be changed and hated to miss out. So, we have decided to let those of you that cannot come sign up for the kits for Saturday. We will have to charge extra for these kits because we will include pictures and instructions. The kits will be sold ONLY as a package deal and the cost will be $36.00. This must be paid in advance. You may call and put your name down and mail us a check if you live out of town. There are no extra kits at this time for the Friday classes. So, to summarize your options for National Scrapbook Weekend, if you're attending classes, the cost is $7.50 each. Any class kit purchased where you have not attended the class is $9.00.

WOULD YOU LIKE A MATCHING ALBUM? As you know we planned this event around many summer activities. If you want to use these layouts for your summer album, one of the copy crop layouts will be a beginning and ending page (but not restricted to that). We are offering an album that matches some of the colors that we are using in the classes. It is a cloth album by Colorbok called Caribbean which is a teal color. These albums cost $19.99 and please let us know soon if you would like for me to order you one. If you are registered for NSD and would like this matching album, call or email us ASAP.

FEES DUE! For those that are registered for the weekend, we must have your money in the store by next Monday, April 27. This is important because the Friday classes are full, and only those paid are certain to have a spot!

NEW MACHINE ALERT!!! NOW for those that still have all your Sizzix dies, we now have the Big Shot Expression. Tim Holtz loves this machine and after I have tried it, I do, too! I have only ordered one to have in the store for you to try and then I will order them for whoever is interested in owning one. We have always loved the Sizzix products and now you can cut them on this new electric cutter. It will cut all the originals plus all of their new dies. This is a great way to get those dies out of storage and start using them again. The retail cost of this machine is $170.00, but if you order by May 10th, I will give you $20.00 off the retail price! This tool will round corners on paper, chipboard, leather, and plastic. You will definitely want to add it your stash of gadgets. It retails for $24.99 plus tax. We have 7 in stock but I will take orders for those that miss out on them the first go round.
